WHY ADULTS NEED TO WORKOUT?

As you age you lose muscle, as you age you lose strength, as you age health conditions get worse and worse, as you age life gets more hectic, as you age life changes and gets more difficult, as you age you find ways to make excuses. HERE ARE THE FACTS!

  1. As you age you lose about 1% of muscle mass per year.

  2. You also lose about 3% of your strength each year.

  3. Lower muscle strength is associated with dementia and morality.

  4. A study in Britain showed adults who strength train twice per week reduce their risk for all caused mortality by 20%.

  5. The same study showed those adults also reduced their risk for cancer mortality by 43%.

  6. Strength Training has a place in everyone's life whether it be kids, teenagers or adults. There is nothing more satisfying then seeing your hard work pay off. There is nothing greater in life than watching your kids want to workout because Mommy and Daddy do it.
